Hello Everyone!
On World Entrepreneurship Day, I would like to share story of an Indian–American Entrepreneur Family!
This is Mrs. Meera Verg along with her husband Mr. Ravi Verg, parents of two amazingly talented kids, currently living in New Jersey.
Meera and Ravi met at work when they were in their early-mid-twenties, a self-made couple who believed that they can conquer anything they want with the right mindset and goals. They are genuinely good people, which is really hard to find these days.
Their Journey from Parenthood to Entrepreneurs!
Coming from a conservative background, this self-made Generation X couple has seen it all. Settling overseas 20 years back wasn’t as easy as it may be for many of us today.
Their journey in the States started in 2001 with a handful amount of $500. They were 6 months pregnant with a 4 years old daughter by their side and limited resources for livelihood.
During their initial days Mr. Ravi Verg was working two full time jobs from 9am-8pm, while Mrs. Meera Verg was taking care of the kids at home. To make ends meet, the couple started a meal delivery business and coexisted with roommates to make rent easier to pay. This young family juggled between financial problems and career challenges with a minimum paycheck in an expensive neighborhood
In 2012, the couple decided to take their lives to the next level by quitting their jobs and starting a new company. There was a lot at risk, and the Verg family had an important and significant decision to make with little to no support. They passed this hurdle with flying colors.
Today, Saturn Beauty Group LLC, a multi- million-dollar company, which has been in business for approximately 11 years, and takes pride in having international markets from Europe to the Middle East, and all around the globe.
This is just a fraction of their lives which I could pen down, this family has not only displayed immense courage but also motivated many.
There is a saying:
“Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.”
— Winston S. Churchill
